AWARDS CEREMONY will be held on June 27, 2012 from 6:00-8:30 PM in the Civic Arts Plaza Scherr Forum Theatre

The 2012 Conejo Teen Video Festival is open to all youth living in Ventura County and/or the greater Conejo Valley. The purpose of the Festival is to showcase the creative talent of youth in our area. Video workshops are scheduled to assist young videographers with their new productions and a series of video screenings at Conejo Valley Schools.

Awards Will Be Given in the Following Categories...

Best Screenplay

Best Cinematography

Best Technical Acheivement

Best Actor/Actress

Best Overall Video


This Year's Special Category:
Recycling / Litter Abatement PSA’s or documentaries have been added as a special category for 2012. Entries in this category must be limited to educational or informational pieces on diversion, recycling, litter abatement or beautifying our community through waste management. Special consideration will be given for documentaries and/or PSA’s specific to school recycling suitable for use in grades K-12 to support school recycling activities. Entries of Water Conservation, Global Warming or other environmental issues will not be considered in this category.
Separate scholarship/award will be given to a student and their school for the best educational/informational piece on school recycling, diversion or litter abatement to support school recycling activities.
